What are you going to do?

As Chief Commercial Officer, you will be responsible for driving the profitable growth of Power Group across all four business units. You will play a key role in refining and executing the company’s ambitious growth strategy, while leading a team of currently ~15 sales and marketing professionals to execute it, based on a close connection to the market.

Commercial strategies

In this scale-up phase and dynamic market, you will have ample room to shape commercial strategies that balance long term vision with a drive to deliver short-term results. Example activities within and across business units include:

  • Running marketing campaigns that reach the right target segments, shape brand perception, and spark customer interest.
  • Boosting recurring revenues from services and software, partly by developing commercial models.
  • Prioritizing opportunities that best align with operational and technical construction capabilities.
  • Optimizing utilization of the rental fleet.
  • Supporting acquisitions that complement the portfolio and accelerate growth.

While direction setting is a key priority in this role, the scale-up nature of the company implies that you will also be hands-on involved in building long-term partnerships and closing key deals.

Internal organization

You will strengthen the commercial team by ensuring the right talent is in place, with clear responsibilities, sharp focus, and opportunities for growth and inspiration. By managing the pipeline, improving forecasting, and tracking performance, you will guide the organization to consistently meet and exceed its growth targets. At the same time, you will be involved in key trade-offs between Power Group’s technology specialization and scale on the one hand, and customer needs and commercial opportunities on the other.

External environment

As the commercial face of Power Group, you will represent the company externally and turn market opportunities into growth aligned with its mission. To succeed in this, you bring strong market awareness and the ability to spot opportunities. You have at least a basic technical understanding and, more importantly, a strong curiosity to learn. These qualities form the foundation to collaborate effectively with product and technical teams and to translate technical capabilities into customer value.

What do we ask?

  • Proven track record as a senior commercial leader (e.g. Commercial Director, CCO, Head of Sales/Marketing), ideally in a B2B technical or industrial environment.
  • Strong execution focus and the ability to scale commercial operations in a growing, entrepreneurial setting.
  • Experience with strategy definition, B2B marketing, and B2B sales of various business models.
  • Experience with (sometimes) complex, consultative sales cycles, and long-term partnership management
  • Passion for sustainability and energy transition, with the curiosity to quickly learn and understand technical products.
  • Demonstrated success in new business development and expanding market presence.
  • Excellent collaboration: leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in private equity-backed businesses or fast-scaling SMEs is a plus.
