(Pre) Sales Engineer, Stabicad and Trimble Electrical Designer 2D

What are you going to do?

As a Sales Engineer you will be supporting our sales team as a technical expert in pre-sales and post-sales for our BIM solutions, especially for Stabicad, (market leading engineering software for electrical with more than 10.000 users, build on AutoCAD and Revit) and also for Trimble Electrical Designer 2D.

You will be an important link in our customer contacts. You will have conversations with our customers on a daily basis, listening to their questions and wishes and offering them creative solutions for their possible problems. As a member of our Sales and Marketing team, you will work very closely with the account manager but also with other departments within our company.

Your tasks and responsibilities include:

• Conducting customer consultancy calls by utilizing your technical expertise
• Advising our customers on benefits of our software and best practices
• Designing and developing software demonstration materials and environment and conducting presentations
• Ensuring the best possible usage of our software, you will support our customer onboarding
• Testing software versions and providing feedback to product management according to the agreed procedures
• Gathering technical needs and wishes and advising sales and marketing on them
• Proactively keep yourself up-to-date in both the industry knowledge and building technology in the field
• Supporting at trade fairs, conducting technical webinars and other online presentations.

What do we ask?

• Electrical Engineering Degree
• Good knowledge of electrical calculations
• Experience as a CAD Engineer, BIM Engineer or Technician
• Broad IT knowledge and an ability to learn quickly technical software
• Familiarity with CAD/CAE programs and BIM software. Knowledge of Stabicad is an advantage
• Fluent Dutch and good English language skills
• Great communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to travel around couple of days per week (if needed) in the Netherlands
