Senior System Administrator – Digital Workspace

What are you going to do?

• Tenant rollout: Handle everything from setup and licensing to migration, mail flow, and post-move optimization.
• Workspace management: Work with Intune, Endpoint Manager, Entra ID, conditional access, and other tools to keep things secure, efficient, and user-friendly.
• Device and access management: Ensure devices are enrolled, secure, and compliant - supporting hybrid teams across multiple countries.
• Cross-team collaboration: Work closely with security, infra, and application teams to troubleshoot and improve the overall experience.
• Policy and process design: Create structure where it’s missing, improve what exists, and help drive consistency.
• Team and stakeholder coordination: Functionally manage a Junior Workspace Manager and align with local contacts globally on workplace logistics.
• Automation and adoption: Use PowerShell scripting to reduce manual work and support users in adopting new workflows.
• Workplace strategy: Help shape how we approach the digital workplace—not just follow what's already there.

What do we ask?

• Workspace management: You have solid hands-on experience with Microsoft 365- think Intune, Entra ID (Azure AD), Endpoint Manager, and all things device and identity management.
• OS knowledge: You're comfortable managing and supporting users across Windows, MacOS, and even Linux.
• Automation skills: You use PowerShell to automate, configure, and streamline where possible—and you're always looking for ways to remove repetitive tasks.
• Security mindset: You understand how to keep environments secure without making things harder than they need to be - MFA, conditional access, compliance settings, and DLP are part of your toolkit.
• Coordination & leadership: You’ve worked across locations, managed tasks with remote contacts, and know how to steer others - even if they don’t report to you directly. You’re also confident guiding a junior team member.
• Proactive & structured: You don’t wait for clarity; you help create it. Whether it’s setting up new processes or improving existing ones, you bring structure to complexity and take initiative without needing constant direction.
• Communicator: You can explain your technical decisions clearly and involve others along the way, whether it’s a peer, stakeholder, or end-user.
• Location: You’re based in the Netherlands (Rotterdam area) and are ok with being onsite 3 days a week.
