We are looking for a motivated and capable Inside Technical Sales Support Engineer to support our international customers and distributors. In close collaboration with our Channel Managers and the rest of the sales team, you provide our customers with commercial and technical support. The specialized nature of our equipment and the applications in which they are used require you to obtain detailed knowledge in order to help the customer in selecting the optimal solution.

What are you going to do?

  • Provide first line technical and commercial support
  • Carefully take inventory of customer requirements in order to provide a fitting and correct quotation, as well as following up on these
  • Sales Order evaluation to ensure orders are technically sound before they are processed
  • Guiding our distributors during all stages of the commercial process
  • Providing documentation for tender projects
  • Giving live or online demonstrations of our systems to customers from our demo lab
  • Training and instructing our distributors
  • Various marketing tasks such as updating our website, documentation etc.

If you are interested and have shown your capabilities, this position offers growth opportunities towards Regional Sales Engineer in which you will work even closer with our distributors and bear responsibility for the sales in a region.

What do we ask?

  • Experience in B-to-B sales or sales support, preferably in a comparable market
  • Bachelor in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemistry, Physics or similar
  • Solid technical background, ideally with an affinity for lab technology
  • People person, able to move easily in different cultural settings
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Concise and precise
  • Excellent command of the English language is a must
  • Good computer skills, experience in using Windows, Office 365, Teams etc.
  • Experience in giving/creating presentations and training
  • Dutch citizen or authorized to work in The Netherlands
  • Situated within 50 km. of Waddinxveen
