What are you going to do?

This role reports to the Manager External Reporting & Internal Control. As we continue to grow as a global resource company, we are establishing a centralised tax function to ensure compliance, efficiency, and strategic alignment across all jurisdictions. This is a newly created role, offering you the opportunity to shape the group tax function.

Tasks and Responsibilities

Tax planning & strategy

  • Develop and implement tax-efficient structures and strategies to optimize the group’s tax position.
  • Advise on and implement the tax implications of (customer) contracts, business decisions, and cross-border transactions.
  • Monitor and assess the impact of BEPS, Pillar 2, and other global tax developments to ensure ongoing compliance and strategic alignment.

Tax compliance & reporting

  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of all Income Tax returns.
  • Prepare Dutch Corporate Income Tax (CIT) returns and consolidate regional tax positions.
  • Provide support as needed for all other CIT matters.
  • Prepare all Effective Tax Rate (ETR) calculations for annual reporting.
  • Manage tax audits and liaise with tax authorities to resolve issues and ensure compliance.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local and international tax laws.
  • Set up and maintain the Tax Control Framework, including compliance with BEPS and Pillar 2 requirements.

Transfer pricing

  • Oversee and implement transfer pricing documentation and intercompany agreements.
  • Ensure compliance with OECD guidelines and local requirements for transfer pricing.

Stakeholder management

  • Collaborate with finance, legal, and business units to ensure tax alignment across the organization.
  • Manage relationships with all external tax advisors and auditors across various jurisdictions.

What do we ask?

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Tax, Accounting, Finance, or Law.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant experience in international tax
  • Strong knowledge of Dutch tax system. Knowledge of UK, DE and DK tax is a plus.
  • Experience with transfer pricing and international tax frameworks (OECD, BEPS, etc).
  • Fluency in Dutch and English is required
  • Self starter
  • Excellent communication skills and sense of humour
  • Ability to work alone and in a small team
