What are you going to do?
Key responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage AWS cloud architecture to support data-intensive applications and connected IoT devices.
- Define cloud infrastructure standards and best practices in collaboration with development and DevOps teams.
- Lead the design of scalable backend systems that support telemetry, remote control, and data visualization.
- Monitor system performance and ensure high availability, reliability, and security across cloud services.
- Automate cloud resource provisioning and deployment using Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Assist in the migration of existing systems to AWS and ensure seamless integration with internal tools.
- Work with stakeholders to evaluate new technologies and guide architectural decisions.
What do we ask?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in designing and managing AWS environments.
- Strong grasp of cloud-native design patterns, microservices, and serverless architectures.
- Proficiency with AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, IoT Core, Lambda, API Gateway, IAM, and CloudWatch.
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (e.g., CloudFormation, Terraform, or CDK).
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and identity management in AWS.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and containerization (e.g., Docker, AWS Fargate, or EKS).
- Fluent in English; proficiency in Dutch is a plus.
Preferred skills
- Familiarity with Flutter or embedded software platforms like Yocto.
- Experience with hybrid cloud setups or edge-to-cloud architectures.
- Experience working in multidisciplinary teams (software/hardware/mechanical).
- Interest in sports technology and innovation.
