Quality Assurance Specialist

What are you going to do?

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you play a key role within our team. You’ll collaborate closely with colleagues from logistics, procurement, and supplier management to ensure our processes meet the highest quality standards and that our client collaborations run smoothly.

Key tasks and responsibilities include:

• Managing all aspects of customer relations (from document handling to complaint management)
• Monitoring, verifying, and coordinating legal and customer-specific quality requirements
• Supporting internal and external stakeholders with questions about the supply chain
• Ensuring product compliance and food safety through supplier management
• Optimizing processes and contributing to the development of QA tools and databases

What do we ask?

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, preferably in Food Technology, Nutrition, Agricultural Sciences, or a related field
• Several years of experience in a similar QA role, ideally within the fresh produce sector (fruits & vegetables)
• Strong knowledge of food legislation and standards such as IFS, QS, Organic/SKAL, GlobalGAP
• Experience with tools like MS Office, Agriplace, and preferably with data structures or BI tools
• Excellent command of English; knowledge of Dutch, German, or Spanish is a plus
