Financial Controller

What are you going to do?

As a Financial Controller, you will be involved in a wide range of activities, including reporting, consolidation, taxation, and risk management. Specifically, this includes the following tasks:

• You will be responsible for monitoring the entire financial process and monthly reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
• Coordinating the year-end closing, preparing the annual financial statements, and maintaining contact with external auditors.
• Involvement in audits.
• Contributing to process and activity improvements within the department.
• Ensuring compliance with laws and regulations, including Dutch GAAP, VAT, corporate tax, packaging tax, and more.

What do we ask?

• You are accurate, analytical, and have a strategic mindset.
• HBO work and thinking level.
• You have a degree in Finance and Control or another similar field.
• You have 1 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
• You are fluent in both English and Dutch.
• You have up-to-date knowledge of relevant Dutch laws and regulations.
• Proficiency in MS Office; knowledge of financial software, particularly AFAS, is a plus.
