What are you going to do?

As Product Manager, you are responsible for the entire process—from sourcing the best products worldwide to successfully selling to our dedicated customer in Germany.

You’ll monitor quality, margins, and reliability of supply, and collaborate daily with colleagues in logistics, transport, procurement, and quality control. Besides the exotic team, you are also part of a team responsible for pomme fruit and stone fruit. Although your focus will be on exotics, you will also assist in the other categories.

Your tasks include:

  • Sourcing exotics from international growers and suppliers
  • Selling exotics to our dedicated German retail customer
  • Assisting your direct colleagues in other categories
  • Managing and expanding long-term supplier and customer relationships
  • Analyzing market information and translating it into sharp sourcing and sales strategies
  • Closely collaborating with internal departments to ensure a flawless supply chain

Your strengths include:

  • Strong negotiation and communication skills
  • Analytical and data-driven: you can translate sales and sourcing data into improvement actions
  • A proactive and solution-oriented mindset; you thrive in a dynamic, international work environment

Your CV also includes:

  • At least 3–5 years of experience in a similar role in sourcing or sales, preferably in fresh produce
  • Bachelor-level education or equivalent working and thinking level
  • Fluency in English and a good command of German – you can hold conversations and communicate effectively with customers
  • Dutch/Spanish/Portugese is a plus
  • Experience with German retail
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and strong MS Office skills (especially Excel)
