We are looking for a Commercial Controller for our Corporate Key Accounts; Danone, Nestle, Abbott (CKA) and Intercompany (IC). You are the finance business partner to the Corporate Key Accounts Sales Directors and sales organization; including sales managers, CMO and demand planner. Key is to drive profitability in line with strategic direction of FCI and doing justice to short term optimization.
You have the responsibility to support an efficient and effective (financial) business performance controlling cycle. Furthermore, you are an integral part of the commercial finance team responsible for the financial and controlling processes and standards and the KPI steering framework (together with Manager Controlling GtM) to ensure smooth operations and the commercial, financial goals and commitments are met.
As a Commercial Controller you play a critical role in maintaining this framework and executing and driving data insights infrastructure (volume, sales and GP delivery, prospect tracking, working capital, and operational parameters both by lagging and leading KPIs).
Your responsibilities are divided into three pillars: being a business partner to the Sales team, perform commercial controlling activities and support in core financial processes.
Business Partner Sales Team
- Pro-actively contributes to the CKA/IC sales team and multi-disciplinary customer teams (incl. customer meetings): support in fact-based decision making, negotiation and translation from strategy and insights into action
- Drives insight into E2E profitability of products and bring proposals to optimize this to business partners
- You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, supply chain and innovation, across multiple regions.
- Supports CKA/IC commercial strategy setting (incl. competitive assessments, benchmarking, market share development, etc.) and translation to Strategy into Action planning
Commercial Controlling
- Monitors business performance based on leading and lagging KPI’s (volume, share of wallet, pricing, cash, prospect tracking, operational, etc.)
- Pro-actively identifies and supports to address deviations/risks versus target and suggests, drives, monitors improvement initiatives
- Supports strategic/tactical decision making based on financial and business insights, improving commercial business performance
- Success in this role will be measured by your ability to deliver actionable insights, optimize profitability and support strategic decision-making.
Support in core financial processes
- Supports preparation of CKA/IC Monthly Business Review and Quarterly Strategic Reviews
- Supports on non-standard financial operations for CKA/IC sales
- Supports during the overall month-end closure
- Supports planning and forecasting for budget, outlook and long-range plans with a focus on commercial parameters (volume, net sales, pricing, GP, cash, etc.)
- Supports execution and continuous improvement of Risk, Control, Accounting and Reporting and project management with role specific actions
- Supports in Nutrition wide finance projects with central reporting or innovation team
Wat vragen wij?
- A solid financial education at University level
- Minimum of 5 years of Controlling experience and/or consulting
- Understanding of SAP and BI Tooling (Afo/PowerBI)
- MS Office skills, you have to be Excel and PPT savvy, Salesforce experience is a pre
