Wat ga je doen?

As our Battery Repair Lead, you will own the end-to-end battery repair process performance and day-to-day execution. You will ensure safe operations, strict SOP adherence, and ISO 9001-aligned quality. Your mission is to drive predictable delivery, stable lead times, and continuous improvement through robust planning, audit discipline, and equipment readiness.

Your core responsibilities:

  • Planning & Flow Management: Translate demand and backlog into daily/weekly execution plans (staffing, workstation balancing, WIP control) and protect SLAs through rapid problem-solving.
  • Process & Quality Control: Enforce the repair Control Plan, lead containment actions for quality risks, and drive CAPA (Corrective and Preventive Actions) investigations alongside the QMS team.
  • Traceability & Audits: Govern local Repair ERP traceability to ensure flawless data quality per unit, and execute the local Repair Audit and Equipment Calibration Plans.
  • Team Leadership & Coaching: Manage, schedule, and coach your team of Technicians and Team Leads, overseeing their onboarding, qualification plans, and performance reviews.
  • Safety Enforcement: Maintain a strict safety culture, ensuring absolute electrical safety, ESD discipline, and proper handling/escalation triggers for damaged lithium-ion batteries.

Your profile:

  • Mindset: A strong process-ownership mindset with deep ISO 9001/QMS discipline (controlled documentation, records, and nonconformities) and a continuous improvement attitude.
  • Skills: Strong leadership capabilities, station-balancing expertise, and a data-driven approach to tracking daily and weekly KPIs.
  • Safety First: A robust understanding of electrical safety, ESD discipline, and the safe handling of lithium-ion batteries.
  • Desired Training: Required training at a Lead Level, including specific team management and leadership training.
  • Desired Experience: Proven track record leading repair or production operations (experience with battery repair or electro-mechanical products is highly preferred).
