Wat ga je doen?

  • Develop and execute a sales plan for your region in line with our strategic objectives.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with customers and agents to convert prospects into orders and build long-term partnerships.
  • Advise customers and project teams on the functionality and application of our products.
  • Ensure technically accurate and commercially attractive proposals, define strategy and unique selling points, and follow up on quotations.
  • Identify trends, customer needs, and competitor information, and explore new market and sales opportunities.
  • Perform thorough analyses to determine the best sales strategy and implement it with internal stakeholders.
  • Maintain accurate and transparent records of customer contacts, quotations, projects, and opportunities in our CRM system.
  • Conduct annual agent evaluations as part of due diligence for contract renewals.
  • Actively seek the best sales channels for specific market segments.
  • Provide operational guidance and support to agents in your region.
  • Travel within your territory is an essential part of the role.

Wat vragen wij?

  • A bachelor’s degree in a technical or engineering field.
  • Additional courses in commerce or business administration.
  • 7 years + of valve sales experience.
  • Excellent command of English; Dutch and/or other languages are a plus.
  • Understanding of the full sales process and affinity with technical products.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build relationships across diverse cultures.
  • Ability to identify market opportunities and translate them into concrete actions.
  • Eagerness to learn, adaptability, and cultural sensitivity in international markets.
  • Willingness to travel within your region (approx. 25%).: South Africa, Nigeria, Libya, Angola, Kenya, Mozambique, Congo, Tunisia, and Ivory Coast.
  • You are living in The Netherlands (Gouda), Germany (Mannheim) or in the UK (Cirencester).
