Wat ga je doen?

You are responsible for the entire sales process from application to transfer. When a quote comes in from the Sales Coordinator, you call the customer to gather more information. For which project are the materials needed, when will the final decision be made and what else does the customer need? You process this information in the quotation. You also ensure proper follow-up and you try to realize cross- or upselling. You also maintain contact with global (potential) customers, agents, distributors and other representatives. All customer contact and relevant information is processed in the CRM and ERP system.

You work closely with Sales Managers, Sales Coordination, Product Managers, Engineering and Support and almost all other departments, as you are the link between the customer and Gouda Refractories.

Wat vragen wij?

We are looking for a candidate with inside sales experience in a demanding business environment and a completed, preferably technical, higher professional education, or willing to learn. You are fluent in the Dutch and English language. Because you have an affinity with technology, you see it as an added challenge to understand and fathom our products and solutions. Of course we will also teach you the ins and outs of this!

Basically you characterize:

  • Commercially driven
  • Initiative, analytical and critical


  • MBO+/HBO level in a commercial or technical direction
  • Experience with B2B in a comparable position; industrial and intercontinental
  • Experience with CRM and ERP systems
  • Ability to properly represent the interests of Gouda Refractories and the customer
  • Good command of the Dutch, English and German language, spoken and written; other languages ​​are a plus

Wat bieden wij?

  • € 2.500 - € 3.500 gross p/m (depending on knowledge, age and experience)
  • 40-hour working week
