Wat ga je doen?

  • As Senior Product Manager, you will support the Category Director in driving the global category strategy across clusters and markets. In addition, you will be responsible for the development and continuous improvement of Mediq Own Brands.
  • You will identify opportunities to improve sales and gross margins within your category across clusters and define clear steering and optimization actions.
  • You own and maintain the product hierarchy for your category, including approving new SKUs for local markets and leading SKU rationalization initiatives. You will define a good–better–best assortment strategy and advise countries on the optimal marketing mix.
  • The product development aspect of the role includes responsibility in line with Medical Device Regulation (MDR), with full support from the QA/RA department.
  • Key accountabilities include category strategy and innovation, assortment planning, new product development, Mediq own brand product management, and product hierarchy definition.

Wat vragen wij?

  • Master’s degree;
  • More than 5 years of functionally relevant work experience;
  • Deep knowledge of healthcare (category) products (knock-out);
  • Proven experience within the healthcare industry;
  • Experience working in a mid-size or large multinational organization with a matrix structure;
  • Strong expertise in optimizing category assortments for margin improvement;
  • Ability to develop category strategies and drive business development;
  • Thorough understanding of the end-to-end category management process, with the ability to apply it pragmatically to achieve ambitious group-wide targets;
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to navigate complexity and develop innovative, value-creating solutions.
